Speaker and planning for Lawn & Garden show display.
Lawn & Garden Show Booth
February 15 - 17 2008
The GOHS will again have a booth at the show to provide answers and education to the general public about Hostas and Shade Gardening.
Garden Cleanup
March 29, 2008 9 A.M. at Close Park
Short meeting with time to provide a general cleanup to the Hosta Garden in the park . In case of bad weather a make up date will be April 5, 2008
Planting Day
April 26, 2008 9 A.M. at Close Park
After a short meeting we will be planting hostas to replace those who never recovered from the Easter Freeze of 2007.
Ice Cream Social
June 29, 2008 6 : 30 P.M.
Oscar and Amy Cross will host a get together at "Hilltop Farm" Ice Cream and desserts for all!! Time to socialize and compare gardening notes.
HOSTA AUCTION
September 13, 2008 3 P.M.
The GOHS will hold an auction at the hosta garden at Close Park 2400 S. Scenic Springfield, MO.
A short business meeting will preceed the auction with a pot luck meal to follow. Everyone is invited.
